And in hearing those names, you get an idea of what direction the song is going to go but it’s perfect. I think any other time, we’d be hard pressed to see the names Joe Budden, Juicy J and Lloyd Banks on one record. I’m going to go with a song titled “Last Day” featuring Juicy J and Lloyd Banks just because it’s such a weird combination. HipHopCanada: What’s a song on this album that we haven’t heard that you’re excited to not only have people hear, but also to see people’s reactions to? If it doesn’t then we’ll end up scrapping it. Judging by the trailer, This Year Was Dope/Trash is going to be a year-end wrap up where the two sit down and talk about everything noteworthy that happened in the music industry in 2017 Charlamagne taking the more optimistic approach to recapping the year and Joe Budden being more, well, like Joe Budden.Ī date wasn’t given for the release of the show other than “Coming Soon.” More than anything else, we are left wondering whether or not the onscreen partnership of Charlamagne and Joe Budden will extend to anything further than just a one-off special. At the end of it all, it seems like the two are able to find some special brand of respect towards each other and it looks like with this new deal for Revolt TV, the two hope to extend that respect by making money together.
